About Nikki Witney

Nikki is a Registered Nurse and Credentialed Diabetes Educator with a Graduate Certificate of Diabetes Education and Management.

Nikki is originally from Scotland but has worked in the UK, USA and Canada before moving to Australia in 2004. Nikki has worked in diabetes management centres throughout Sydney before starting Coasties Diabetes. She has experience providing diabetes education and management advice covering all types of diabetes, including the management of people on insulin pumps or multiple daily injections, continuous glucose monitoring and flash technology. Nikki is also an accredited insulin pump and  CGM trainer and is experienced with all available diabetes technology.

Nikki is passionate about  her  role as a Diabetes Educator and aims to inform, guide and support patients through all aspects of their diabetes journey ultimately affording them the tools to manage their diabetes with confidence.
