Coasties Diabetes is educator Nikki Witney RN CDE who believes the more you understand about your diabetes the easier it is for you to manage.

We are located on the Central Coast of NSW and our service covers all suburbs so we can provide a service designed to fit the needs  our local community . Coasties Diabetes offers flexible appointments during the day and after hours for maximum convenience to fit around your busy life.

About Nikki Witney

Nikki is a Registered Nurse and Credentialed Diabetes Educator with a Graduate Certificate of Diabetes Education and Management. She is currently continuing her study and completing a Masters of Nursing  and a Graduate Diploma of Human Nutrition.

Nikki is originally from Scotland but has worked in the UK, USA and Canada before moving to Australia in 2004. Nikki has worked in diabetes management centers throughout Sydney before starting Coasties Diabetes. She has experience providing diabetes education and management advice covering all types of diabetes, including the management of people on insulin pumps or multiple daily injections, continuous glucose monitoring and flash technology. Nikki is also an accredited pump and CGM trainer for both Medtronic and Animas.

Nikki is passionate about  her  role as a Diabetes Educator and aims to inform, guide and support patients through all aspects of their diabetes journey ultimately affording them the tools to manage their diabetes  with confidence.
